Our Programs
Beginner
Beginners of all ages will start by navigating around the instrument and the music score. Basic rhythm is felt in the body and patterns are taught that make reading easier. By the end of the first lesson, students will know where to find each note on the piano and will generally have a basic melody learned.
Intermediate
Intermediate students that come to our studio for the first time normally tell us about some obstacle they would like to overcome, such as a lack of motivation, a technical plateau, or difficulty getting exceptional marks on exams. We help these students move to the next level of competence according to their ultimate goals.
Advanced
The advanced students that come to us have normally completed as many exams as they would like and are seeking a second set of ears for critical feedback and use the lessons as a way to maintain their skills and motivation.
Our Programs Are Tailored To Suit You

Classical
We offer beginner to advanced levels of music instruction ranging from the earliest Baroque and Classical music to the Romantic, Impressionistic, and modern styles. Our repertoire is taken from the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) which is the most widely acknowledged format in North America for this genre.

examinations
With five decades of combined experience, we guide students in registering and preparing for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and ABRSM exams. Our students frequently achieve First Class Honours and above.

Theory & Technique
We teach the building blocks of music including theoretical concepts and proper technique. This aids in memory, reading, and the ability to play at an increasingly more advanced level.

MUSICIANSHIP
There is nothing that makes our students more comfortable in the element of music than skills related to reading and listening. We teach our students how to identify what they are reading and hearing in terms of patterns for quick recognition, learning, reproducing sounds and creating their own.

Pop & Jazz
We source music for our students based on their interests and tastes from a variety of places including videogames, anime films and television, top billed music artists, and more. We also teach the foundations of 12-bar blues, how to read lead sheets, and pieces from musical styles including ragtime to swing.

performance
While performing is by no means a requirement, we expose our students to a variety of opportunities including festivals, competitions, examinations, workshops and recitals.
